This is Matt’s and Owen’s website—setup to show the blurb about our little Isle of Wight challenge in August 2009.

A while ago, we reckoned we might ride a lap of the Isle of Wight—about 100km / 62 miles in one day, whilst camping there.

Hot air? Well, yes - until Owen’s friend Clive died of cancer.

The frustration of losing a friend to this vicious and indiscriminate killer made our resolve - we would do it in celebration of Clive’s life, and in grateful thanks for everything he has given us.

No bitterness, no anger - just to do the mission and have a great time - and a good few laughs - in doing so.
